Biostimulators in Alexandria.
Instead of filling, we ask your skin to build its own collagen. Radiesse, the Sfera calcium hybrid and RichPL PLLA give firmness and lift that arrive slowly and look like you — only more rested.
What biostimulators do.
A biostimulator is a gel of tiny particles — calcium hydroxyapatite (Radiesse, Sfera) or poly-L-lactic acid, PLLA (RichPL) — that the skin reacts to by building new collagen around them. The gel itself is absorbed over months; the collagen stays. So the result isn't instant: it appears over 6 to 12 weeks and lasts 18 months to 2 years.
This is the treatment for faces that have lost firmness rather than volume, for the neck, the jawline and the hands, and for anyone who wants a lifted look without filler. It needs an experienced injector, placed with a cannula, in the right plane. It can't be dissolved, which is why we plan it conservatively.
The biostimulators we use
Three products, three different jobs. Which one, and how diluted, is the whole art of this treatment.
Lift that grows in.
Nobody will see the day you had it done. They'll notice, three months later, that you look well.
Your visit.
- Consultation & analysisWe look at firmness and skin thickness, not just volume, and decide whether a biostimulator, a filler or a booster is the right tool — or a mix.
- A plan for your faceWhich product, how diluted, which areas and how many sessions. We start conservatively; collagen can always be added, never removed.
- The treatmentNumbing cream and a local anaesthetic mixed into the product. Placed with a cannula in fans, then massaged. About 45 minutes.
- Massage & follow-upFor PLLA: massage 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days. We see you at six weeks and plan the next session. Your aftercare steps are in the Injection Studio Community app.
Questions people ask.
What is the difference between a biostimulator and filler?
Filler adds volume on the day, and can be dissolved. A biostimulator makes your skin build its own collagen, so the result arrives over weeks, looks firmer rather than fuller, lasts longer, and can't be dissolved.
Radiesse or PLLA — which is better?
Radiesse (calcium) gives some structure on the day and firms over the following weeks; good for the jawline, neck and hands. PLLA gives nothing on the day and builds a soft overall firmness over 2–3 sessions; good for an overall tired, thin face. Dr. Sara chooses at the consultation.
What is a hybrid filler?
A product that combines hyaluronic acid (immediate volume) with calcium hydroxyapatite (collagen over time) in one syringe. Sfera Hybrid 30.5 is the one we use: a little lift now, firmness later.
When will I see results, and how long do they last?
Calcium products: some effect on the day, the real result at 6–12 weeks. PLLA: 8–12 weeks after each session. Results last around 18 months to 2 years.
Is it safe? Can it be removed?
In experienced hands, with a cannula and the right plane, yes. Unlike hyaluronic acid filler it cannot be dissolved, so we never use it in the lips or under the eyes, and we plan conservatively.
Is there downtime?
Some swelling and possible bruising for a few days, and the area may feel firm for a couple of weeks. PLLA needs five days of home massage. Plan it at least a month before an event.
How much do biostimulators cost?
It depends on the product, the areas and the number of sessions. Dr. Sara gives you the exact plan and its cost at the consultation, before any treatment.
