What filler does.
Filler is a soft gel of hyaluronic acid, a substance your skin already makes. Placed with precision, it restores the volume that time takes from the cheeks and temples, defines a lip border or a jawline, or balances a chin. The result is immediate and it can be dissolved if you ever change your mind.
At Injection Studio the first question is always the whole face, not the one area. A small change in the cheek can do more for the under-eye than treating the under-eye itself. Dr. Sara plans in proportions, and uses less than you expect. Results last around 9 to 18 months depending on the area and the product.

Does filler hurt?
A numbing cream is applied first, and most fillers contain a local anaesthetic. You feel pressure more than pain. Lips are the most sensitive area.
How long does filler last?
Around 9 to 12 months in the lips, and 12 to 18 months in the cheeks, jawline and chin. It fades gradually, never suddenly.
Will it look natural?
That is the only way we work. Filler is placed to restore and balance, in small measured amounts. People should notice you look well, not that you had something done.
What about swelling and bruising?
Expect some swelling for two to five days, most of all in the lips, and sometimes a small bruise. Both settle on their own. Plan treatment at least two weeks before an event.
Can filler be removed?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with an enzyme if ever needed. This is one reason we use it.
How much does filler cost?
It depends on the areas and how many syringes your plan needs. Dr. Sara gives you the exact plan and its cost at the consultation, before any treatment.
