What Botox does.
Botox is a purified protein that relaxes the small muscles that fold the skin when you frown, raise your brows or squint. The line stops being pressed into the skin a hundred times a day, and it softens. The muscles you use to smile and speak are left alone.
The aim at Injection Studio is never a frozen forehead. Dr. Sara studies how your face moves first, then places only what is needed, where it is needed. The result settles over 10 to 14 days and lasts around 3 to 4 months.

Does Botox hurt?
Most people describe it as a small pinch that lasts a second. The needle is very fine and the visit is short. No numbing is needed.
When will I see the result, and how long does it last?
It starts to show at about day 3 to 5 and settles fully by two weeks. It lasts around three to four months, sometimes longer with regular treatment.
Will my face look frozen?
Not when it is placed with care. We treat the muscles that fold the skin and leave the ones that give you expression. The aim is a rested face, not a still one.
Can I go back to work the same day?
Yes. There is no downtime. Avoid lying flat, pressing the area, saunas and hard exercise for the rest of the day.
Who should not have Botox?
Pregnant or breastfeeding women, people with certain neuromuscular conditions, and anyone with an infection at the injection site. We go through this at the consultation.
How much does Botox cost?
It depends on the areas treated and how much your muscles need. Dr. Sara gives you the exact plan and its cost at the consultation, before any treatment.
