Salmon DNA in Alexandria.

Polynucleotides from salmon that tell your skin to repair itself: thicker, calmer, more even skin under the eyes, after acne, and wherever it has grown thin and tired.

What Salmon DNA does.

Salmon DNA is the everyday name for polynucleotides (PN or PDRN): purified DNA fragments from salmon, which happen to be very close to our own. Injected into the skin, they signal the cells to repair: more fibroblasts, better blood flow, less inflammation, and over weeks a thicker, calmer, more even skin.

It isn't a filler (it adds no volume) and it isn't quite a booster (it hydrates less than hyaluronic acid). It is a repair treatment, and it is the right choice when the skin itself is the problem: thin under-eye skin, redness and texture after acne, a crêpey neck, skin that heals slowly or has been over-treated. The usual course is three sessions, 2–3 weeks apart, with results that build for three months after.

Under the eyesThin, dark, tired skin — its best-known use.
After acneRedness, texture and shallow scars once the acne is calm.
The neckCrêpey skin and early lines.
Dull or thin skinSkin that has lost its bounce, often after weight loss or sun.
HandsThin skin on the back of the hands.
Around treatmentsBefore or after laser, peels or filler, to help the skin recover.

Repair, not disguise.

Filler hides a problem. Salmon DNA asks the skin to fix it. Slower, and worth it.

Questions people ask.

What is Salmon DNA exactly?

Polynucleotides: purified fragments of DNA from salmon, injected into the skin to trigger repair. They have been used in wound healing for years and in aesthetic medicine for about a decade, with a strong safety record.

Salmon DNA vs skin booster vs filler — what is the difference?

Filler adds volume. A booster hydrates. Salmon DNA repairs: it thickens thin skin, calms redness and improves texture. They are often combined, but when the skin is thin or damaged, Salmon DNA goes first.

How many sessions, and when do I see results?

Three sessions, 2–3 weeks apart. Skin feels calmer after the first; texture and colour improve over 4–8 weeks and keep improving for three months after the course. A top-up every 6–9 months keeps it.

Is it safe for the under-eye?

Yes — it is the under-eye treatment we trust most, because it works on the skin without adding volume, so there is no risk of puffiness or a blue line. Placed with a cannula or very fine needle.

Is there downtime?

Small bumps at the injection points for a few hours, occasionally a tiny bruise. Make-up the next day. You can go straight back to your day.

Does it help acne scars?

Shallow, soft scars and post-acne redness and texture respond well, especially combined with microneedling. Deep ice-pick scars need other treatments.

How much does Salmon DNA cost?

It depends on the areas and the number of sessions. Dr. Sara gives you the exact plan and its cost at the consultation, before any treatment.
