The mistake we see most: a bride arriving a week before the wedding wanting lips, Botox and cheeks. The result is photos with swelling and a bruise, or Botox that has not started yet. The schedule is simple if you start early.
Lips: two months before
Swelling settles in two weeks, but the final shape and a small top-up if needed take a month. Two months gives a safety margin for a bruise or an adjustment.
Botox: six to eight weeks before
Full effect at two weeks, and the two-week check evens out any stronger side. On the day it is at its peak and completely natural. If it is your first time ever, do a trial three months before.
Cheeks, jaw and chin: three months before
Structural filler needs to settle and be lived with. Biostimulators (Sfera, Radiesse) take three months just to show, so start them four to six months out.
Skin boosters: three sessions, the last a month before
The best glow in photos comes from skin hydrated from inside, not from extra filler.
The last four weeks
No needle. A hydrating facial ten days before is fine. Anything else waits until after the honeymoon.
Quick answers
The wedding is in three weeks and I have done nothing?
Botox today if at least three weeks remain, and one skin booster. Not filler, unless you accept the risk of a bruise in the photos.
The groom?
Exactly the same schedule. The most common requests from men: jawline, under-eye, forehead Botox.
Engagement and henna night too?
Plan from the furthest event. If the engagement is four months before the wedding, lips two months before the engagement carry to the wedding with a small top-up.
