Half the people asking about hair injections in Alexandria will benefit, and half will waste their money. The difference is easy to see before you book.
The mirror test
Part the hair where it worries you and look at the scalp. If you see many fine, short hairs (fuzz), the follicles are there and asleep, and injections work. If the skin is shiny and smooth with no hair at all, the follicles are gone, and injections will not bring them back; that is a transplant conversation.
They work for
Shedding after childbirth, illness or a crash diet; diffuse thinning from low iron or vitamin D (after the deficiency is treated); early hereditary loss in men at the crown and front; a widening parting in women.
They do not work for
Old, complete baldness; loss caused by an autoimmune condition or a medicine you still take; or without treating the cause (thyroid, iron).
The right order
Blood tests first (ferritin, vitamin D, B12, zinc, thyroid). Treat the deficiency. Then mesotherapy, PRP or GCELL depending on the case, four to six monthly sessions. Results show at three to four months, not after one session.
Quick answers
Do men respond like women?
In early hereditary loss, yes, often combined with prescribed minoxidil or finasteride. In advanced baldness, a transplant is more useful.
PRP or mesotherapy?
PRP for the growth signal in hereditary loss; mesotherapy for nutrition in diffuse thinning. We often alternate them.
How many sessions before I judge?
At least four, with before/after photos in the same light. Shedding drops from month two, thickening from month four.
